This web sight is just getting better and better with the wonderful help of Melody Pierson, our newest gift from the universe!
It looks like Portraits Beyond Boundaries will be going to the school Summerhill in England this summer with Gloria Ronalds, an Access Facilitator from Montreal. Thank you Gloria, how did we get so lucky?
The exciting thing about Portraits is it is about the children and the interaction of awareness and whatever medium they choose and whoever they work with. There is no right , no wrong, there is only creation and generation. We are looking into working with kids in New Zealand and Australia as we will be there in the Month of March . Who would like to come and play with us? This really is a project that exists in two levels.
One is the actual creation of a self portrait that the child gets to take home knowing that some one some where across the globe will be seeing it and perhaps learning about them and their country.
The second level is this thing we call cyberspace. How that will develop with pictures and music and poetry and video p[assing through Portraits Beyond Borders is up to all of you. What else is possible that we don't even know yet. The possibilities are infinite? What would it take?

What else is Possible?
Was on Facebook where i started chatting with a friend of mine about PBB. Started talking about how mom and i would love for Portraits to be so expansive that schools and kids can have their own forums, projects and whatever else through portraits. How much can be generated with a place and space for kids and art. hmmmmm. what else is possible?
Please feel free to drop a line or any other ideas you have about the expansion of portraits.
Hold onto your hats - this is going to be fun!

Schools around the world
What would it take to have trillions of schools, parents and teachers generating art with their children and classrooms creating awareness around the world?
